Who We Are
We’re a premium guest experience company offering exceptional service to airport travelers nationwide. Our team approaches each assignment with professionalism, discretion, and efficiency. Our mission is to provide a seamless, stress-free airport experience at every opportunity.

What We’re Looking For
We are looking to hire a candidate who embodies professionalism, sound judgment, and meticulous attention to detail. (As a test of that last quality, please type the word HIRE when prompted to enter a password in one of our screener questions.) The right person stays calm under pressure, communicates clearly and kindly, and isn’t easily rattled or offended.

MIA Airport Greeter & Transportation Coordinator role requires someone who is self-directed, a creative problem-solver, and able to manage shifting conditions independently, without close supervision. You must be punctual, reliable, adaptable, and committed to maintaining a consistent weekly schedule.

Comfort with web-based applications and the ability to track multiple moving parts at once are essential. You'll be juggling real-time information about flights, guests, and drivers, so thinking clearly and being focused and fully present are non-negotiables.

We’re particularly interested in candidates with experience in high-touch hospitality environments, such as hotel front desks, where professionalism, discretion, and customer service are foundational to success.

MIA Airport Greeter & Transportation Coordinator role is NOT suited for individuals who require close oversight, are easily overwhelmed in crowded, busy, or noisy spaces, or who struggle to adapt when plans change with little notice.

Job Description

As an on-site MIA Airport Greeter & Transportation Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to greet First and Business Class passengers arriving on a specific international flight and coordinate a seamless handoff to their pre-assigned private chauffeurs.

This specific international flight lands daily—Sunday through Saturday—at approximately 10:00 AM. The actual landing time determines the start-time of your shift, which on any given day may be earlier or later depending on delays or early landings. Each shift lasts approximately 2 hours, though we guarantee a minimum of 2 hours of pay per shift.

This is a very part-time position. We are looking for someone to cover 2 to 3 shifts per week. The hired candidate can expect to work 4 to 6 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring the assigned flight’s landing time and adjusting your shift start time accordingly
  • Greeting First and Business Class passengers in the international arrivals hall with warmth, professionalism, and a passion for service
  • Using a web-based application to track and update passenger and chauffeur status in real time
  • Coordinating a seamless connection between passenger and driver
  • Resolving emergent issues with calm, clear, efficient decision-making
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with guests, drivers, airline representatives, our office, and with others you may come in contact with on the job.
  • Maintaining a composed, service-oriented presence in a fast-paced setting.
  • Reporting back to our office the details of each shift.

This is a solo, self-directed role. You will not be supervised on-site, and you’ll be responsible for managing your time, tools, and responsibilities with consistency and attention to detail.

Personality Fit

  • You are likely to succeed in this role if you are:
  • Reliable, attentive, and professional in your demeanor
  • Empathetic and others-oriented in your heart
  • Comfortable taking initiative and making real-time decisions
  • Detail-oriented and a quick, creative problem-solver

Must Be Comfortable With

  • On-site work at MIA: This is not a remote role. You must be physically present at Miami International Airport for each scheduled shift.
  • Variable start times: While the flight is scheduled to land at 10:00 AM, early arrivals and delays are common. Your shift start time begins when the flight lands.
  • A very part-time schedule: This role involves 2 to 3 short shifts per week. If you’re looking for more hours or a traditional part-time job, this likely isn’t the right fit.
  • Working independently: You will not have on-site supervision. We expect you to manage your own schedule, communication, and problem-solving without hand-holding or being prompted.
  • Dynamic airport environments: The arrivals hall can be busy, loud, and unpredictable. You’ll need to maintain focus and professionalism regardless of what’s happening around you.
  • Client-facing service: This role involves direct interaction with passengers flying in First and Business Class cabins. Discretion and good judgment are non-negotiable.
  • 1099 Contractor: No benefits, no taxes withheld. Parking is NOT offered.

Compensation

  • $30/hour as an independent contractor
  • 2 or 3 shifts per week, each shift lasts approximately 2 hours
  • Guaranteed minimum 2 hours pay per shift. Time beyond 2 hours is prorated in 15-minute increments.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Application Question(s):

  • Are you reliably available to accommodate a shift that could vary slightly based on the landing time of an international flight? For example, while the scheduled landing time is 10:00am, this means your shift could begin as early as 9:00 AM or as late as 11:00 AM on a given day. Extreme flight delays (over 3 hours late) seldom happen but would mean for an even later start time.
  • Why are you applying for this job? Please give two reasons.
  • Describe a difficult work situation you have experienced and how you handled it.
  • What is your greatest professional achievement or victory to date?
  • What is your greatest professional regret?
  • Besides the money, why do you work?
