<strong>Job Description<br><br></strong><strong>POSITION OBJECTIVE<br><br></strong>Provide guests with a fully stocked and well-maintained mini bar on a consistent basis throughout their stay. Stock the mini-bar cart with the necessary items in order to maintain the par level on a daily basis.<br><br><strong>Essential Job Functions<br><br></strong>Clean, stock and maintain the mini-bars regularly and consistently, it must be kept clean at all times. This included but not limited the cleaning of equipment, product and menus.<br><br><ul><li> Wipe down all of the snack compartments thoroughly. </li><li> Maintain a fully stocked inventory of all mini-bar items. </li><li> If par level is low, order the necessary items from the storeroom. </li><li> Inventory all guest mini bars on a daily basis and post the appropriate charges to the room prior to guest departure. </li><li> Ensure all duties found in the refreshment center inspection/attendant evaluation checklist are followed including completing assigned floors, cleanliness of assigned mini-bars, menus are present, inventory is complete, and refill reports are accurately filled out. </li><li> Raising of checks and maintaining Bartech and Ipads. </li><li> Authorized to enter in all guest rooms pertaining to Mini bar at any given point of time. </li><li> Must respect Do Not Disturb light, and when lit a Mini Bar service card must be placed under the door as well as DND Room to be marked </li><li> Stock and replace missing items, inspect, make sure labels are facing guests, bottles are sealed, move and clean the mini bars in accordance with departmental procedures and policies. </li><li> Maintain, track and complete daily worksheet of mini bar stock. </li><li> Responsible for replenishment of Mini bar items in rooms. </li><li> Responsible for maintaining the Mini bar Pantry in terms of par stock, stacking and cleanliness. Make sure items are locked and secured. </li><li> Wipe down all bottles thoroughly </li><li> Ensure products in Mini-Bar are not expired and take the proper procedure to remove those products as necessary. </li><li> Maintain assigned Mini-Bar carts. </li><li> Raise store requisition and obtain stock from warehouse and store in the assigned storerooms. </li><li> Maintain and complete assigned floors and rooms requesting Mini-Bar service. </li><li> Follows up on guest disputes. </li><li> Mini bar attends are responsible for the safe keeping of master keys, mini bar carts and Bartech Ipads. </li><li> Maintain the highest level of customer service and display professionalism at all times. </li><li> Follows all required safety and standard operating procedures. </li><li> Ensure rotation of all mini-bar products. FIFO (first in first out) </li><li> Properly complete, maintain and track inventory in assigned storerooms. </li><li> Communicate effectively with Mini-Bar Vending Supervisor any issues and/or concerns. </li><li> Display appropriate two-way radio etiquette at all times. </li><li> Report all mini-bar concerns to management including any guest issues. </li><li> Perform any other duties deemed necessary for the success of the department. </li><li> Perform other job-related duties as assigned. </li><li> Knowledge of Point of sale (POS) systems, Handheld POS, inventory and store requisition software and reporting tools. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Education/Experience<br><br></strong>Must be 21 years of age or older.<br><br><ul><li> High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. </li><li> Previous experience in hotel industry. </li><li> Must be able to work a varied schedule which includes working weekends and holidays. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong>Must be able to speak conversational English<br><br><ul><li> Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems; however, must be able to work in extreme temperatures like freezers (-10°F) and kitchens (+110°F), possibly for one hour or more. </li><li> Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for a minimum of 8 hours in length. Walking and standing are required for the majority of the work day and possibly for 8 hours or more. Uniform should be worn at all times and kept nice and neatly pressed with name tag visible at all times. </li><li> Must be able to push or pull 100 lb., product carts, and bend at the knee to check bars frequently. </li><li> Must be able to walk up and down stairs throughout the day. </li><li> Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. </li><li> Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees. </li><li> Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception. </li><li> Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. <br><br></li></ul><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT<br><br></strong>Must be able to work effectively in a stressful environment, communicate with others, effectively deal with customers and accept constructive criticism from supervisors.<br><br><ul><li> Must be able to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions. <br><br></li></ul><strong>About Us<br><br></strong>At Harrah’s and Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe, we want you as a partner in a win-win relationship.
