Also, must have extensive and substantial documented successful teaching experience in the area of assigned teaching responsibility, and demonstrate involvement in meaningful research and/or programs for the enhancement of pedagogical (or andragogical) skills.Hold a master's degree in a business-related field, hold a professional pilot license, and have five or more years of professional experience in aviation management. Also, must have extensive and substantial documented successful teaching experience in the area of assigned teaching responsibility, and demonstrate involvement in meaningful research and/or programs for the enhancement of pedagogical (or andragogical) skills.Skills and AttributesThe Adjunct Faculty must possess the following skills and attributes: management and leadership skills; organizational and research skills; strong interpersonal and communication skills; strong clinical and professional skills.Essential FunctionsThe Adjunct Faculty performs the following essential functions: Provides instruction and all aspects of teaching of approved curricula as outlined in the university's master Recommends curriculum changes based on industry Attends continuing education programs and seminars to maintain industry knowledge and Works with program advisory committees as Administers assessment instruments as requested by assessment director or academic Maintains accurate attendance and academic records for Participates in faculty meetings and in-service Participates in National American University school functions, e., graduations, honors ceremonies, etc., as often as possible. Performs other duties as Required Work HoursAdjunct faculty schedules may consist of both daytime and evening hours.
