Summary This is a position where you will be picking up freelance work constantly coming in for fiction (and sometimes nonfiction) writing work. The majority of jobs are novels with strict deadlines and strict client requirements. Who is this position best for? • SAH Parents looking to add a little extra income while at home. • Those who freelance already and need to add another source of work into their rotation. • College students, especially in creative writing wanting to use their skills for experience and some extra cash. • Those with a passion and talent for writing who have time and determination to commit to this kind of work. Required Skills • Able to meet tight deadlines • Able to understand and utilize American English writing conventions, especially in popular fiction and conversational tones • Able to write and read plots • Able to take at least 40k on a month • Able to write at least 7k a week How Pay Works The more work you pick up and the faster you write, the more you make. Our most talented writers make an average of $30/hour. Pay is through a payroll system for contractors which works with most US and international bank accounts.
