SnapCode Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and security-focused Salesforce Access Control Administrator to manage and maintain user access, permissions, roles, profiles, and security policies across their Salesforce platform. The role involves ensuring that access controls align with organizational policies and compliance requirements while supporting internal stakeholders with secure and efficient use of Salesforce.


Responsibilities

  • Manage user provisioning and de-provisioning in Salesforce (create, modify, deactivate accounts)
  • Maintain and configure profiles, permission sets, role hierarchy, sharing rules, and delegated administration.
  • Implement and enforce least privilege access and data security best practices.
  • Monitor access logs and audit trails for unusual or unauthorized access patterns.
  • Assist in periodic access reviews, role-based access control (RBAC) audits, and compliance reporting.
  • Support integration with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, SSO).
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Admins, Developers, and Business Analysts to align access controls with functional requirements.
  • Maintain documentation of access policies, procedures, and configurations.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce releases and changes related to security and access controls.

Skills

  • 8+ years of experience administering Salesforce access controls and security settings.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Security Model - profiles, roles, permission sets, org-wide defaults, field-level security, etc.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Shield, login history analysis, and event monitoring is a plus.
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks and data privacy regulations.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201) preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with IAM tools, SSO, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) integrations.
