They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to manage and optimize financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple client engagements.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and/or review month-end close schedules to ensure accurate accounting records
  • Reconcile bank and credit card transactions; later, manage crypto subledgers and ensure accurate tie-outs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and report on accounting matters.
  • Oversee outsourced accounting processes, including vendor management and performance evaluation.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review and assist in the preparation of tax filings and audits.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance financial systems and procedures.
  • Mentor and provide training to junior staff in accounting practices and procedures.

Skills

  • Minimum 2.5 years of experience as an Accountant, with a strong focus on full-cycle accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (S), Microsoft products and Google.
  • Experience with outsourced accounting services and vendor management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Effectively listen, communicate, and work collaboratively with team members across various departments.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving industry.
  • Mentor junior staff or associates, providing guidance and support in traditional accounting.
  • CPA designation is a plus.
  • Crypto experience is a plus but not required.
