The Colorado base pay for this position ranges from $103,800/year up to $146,400/year. The National base pay for this position ranges from $93,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $161,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. The following list<br />represents potential duties that may be required:<br />● Maintain comprehensive customer profiles including current and past medical history, clinical<br />and laboratory data, and concurrent medications (including over-the-counter and home<br />remedies)<br />● Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential<br />interactions, and route of administration. Make recommendations for therapy changes to the<br />prescriber as appropriate<br />● Operate and Troubleshoot Pharmacy Automation Systems<br />• Utilize, monitor, and troubleshoot automated dispensing and fulfillment systems to<br />ensure accurate, efficient, and timely preparation of prescription orders<br />• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and engineering teams to resolve automation<br />issues, optimize workflows, and maintain compliance with quality and safety standards<br />● Dispense Controlled Substances and Maintain Regulatory Compliance<br />• Accurately dispense controlled substances in accordance with DEA regulations and<br />state-specific laws<br />• Maintain thorough, timely, and auditable records of all controlled substance<br />transactions, including inventory management, reconciliation, and reporting<br />requirements<br />● Provide Clinical Support:<br />• Answer clinical questions and provide guidance<br />• Collaborate with healthcare team members<br />• Document all healthcare team communications<br />• Investigate and resolve medication errors<br /><br /> Additional Responsibilities:<br />• Implement policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal laws<br />• Maintain required regulatory documentation<br />• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives<br />• Support pharmacy operations across departments as needed<br />• Physical requirements may include ability to perform warehouse work and lift at least<br />20 pounds
