As a Walmart Stocker, your primary goal is to ensure the smooth flow of products onto the sales floor, so customers can easily access the items they need. Job Duties and Responsibilities of Merchandise Stocker:

  • Remove goods offloaded from the delivery trucks.
  • Implement Walmart’s merchandising standards by transferring products to assigned areas for sale and organizing them on shelves in an orderly fashion.
  • Perform consistent inventory audits to keep track of current stock levels and maintain accurate records.
  • Notify management of any discrepancies found to ensure they are addressed in a timely maer.
  • Ensure that the backroom storage areas are systematically organized and spotless.
  • Ensure that merchandise is stored and labeled correctly to simplify the retrieval process.
