Clifton Jett Transport , LLC an Amazon Delivery Service Partner, delivers packages and smiles to people within your community every day. We're looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team delivering packages. As a Delivery Driver Associate for Clifton Jett Transport LLC you will be on the front lines working directly with our customers and members of your community. It will be your job to exceed customer expectations and make sure all orders, large or small, are delivered on time at the right place. Clifton Jett Transport LLC will be working in the Station located in North West Indianapolis

General Responsibilities:

  • Drives a delivery van to drop off packages to customers within their community.
  • Typical working days are 10 hours.
  • Follows strict safety standards on and off the road.
  • Interacts with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.
  • Uses handheld technology to manage the delivery process.
  • Ensure delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good operating condition at all times

Work Environment:

  • Under tight deadlines, drives a delivery van up to GVWR 10,000 lbs. to many customer residences and businesses, climbs in and out of van, and walks up and down stairs as required to deliver packages according to established procedures in all weather conditions
  • Flexibility is key; routes may vary and may be delayed due to traffic from on road congestion, construction, or other factors
  • Set core schedule, but there may be adjustments, including additional hours and potential schedule changes depending on time of the year and peak seasons and other factors.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be 21+ and have a valid Indiana driver’s license.
  • Must be able to operate and navigate a delivery van, GVWR 10,000 lbs. or less.
  • Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to easily get in and out of the van, with or without reasonable accommodation. Approximately 100 - 200 stops per day
  • Must have good communication skills and the ability to work well with customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior job related preferred but not necessary
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 10 hours long
  • Ability to operate and navigate a van up to GVWR 10,000 lbs.
  • Ability to effectively operate a GPS
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 50 pounds each
  • Capable of moving up and down stairs.
