What To Expect
As a member of the Inventory Control team in Lathrop, CA, the cycle counter ensures overall inventory integrity within the department.
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, work as a team in a safety-oriented environment and be reliable and accurate in day-to-day inventory activities.
The ideal candidate must have solid computer skills, and experience working in a fast-paced automotive just-in-time delivery environment.
This position requires a person that is capable of understanding material handling and inventory management processes, and has the ability to work cross-functionally with colleagues, specialists and engineers to achieve the goals and objectives of the department.
A hands-on approach is expected.
What You'll Do
Conduct daily cycle counts, inventory transactions, and adjustments to maintain accurate balances
Perform inventory reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and support audit activities
Assist Inventory Control Group with weekly, monthly, and quarterly ABC counts
Ensure ERP/MRP/MES systems reflect real-time and accurate inventory data
Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Warehouse, Production, and Logistics teams on process improvements
Support change control, excess, and obsolescence management initiatives
Operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, tuggers, pallet jacks, and flatbed carts
What You'll Bring
Ability to lift (up to 30 lbs.), move and/or open boxes and containers to verify inventory
Ability to stand, bend, reach, stoop, sit, utilize a step stool and/or climb a ladder
Must wear safety PPE in accordance with site regulations and a valid U.S. Driver's License
Previous material handling and/or cycle counting experience
Familiarity with inventory management and inventory movement and computer skills (mandatory) for data entry and data management
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Strong understanding of raw material, WIP, sub-assemblies and finished goods

Expected Compensation
$ $36.72/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
