POSITION SUMMARY: 

As a Private Aviation Advisor, you will join the vibrant team at Magellan Jets, seeking experienced charter brokers and jet membership consultants to enhance our business aviation roster. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

As part of our Solutions for Life portfolio, you will access a comprehensive suite of products and services to offer on-demand charter, tailored jet memberships, and premium resources for aircraft sales and acquisitions, all aimed at maximizing your earning potential. Backed by a robust infrastructure, our consultants can focus entirely on cultivating new business and fostering client loyalty. This includes: 

  • Consult and close deals that fit the client needs by building and maintaining relationships on a deep level, past the transaction with clients 

  • Participate in daily and weekly team calls, as well as quarterly in-person meetings and training sessions

  • Receive unparalleled support from our industry-leading Flight Support and Logistics team and seasoned aircraft sourcing specialists 

  • Access unrivaled training and ongoing education to achieve Certified Aviation Advisor status and be recognized as a key player within one of the most prestigious and forward-thinking brands in aviation 

  • Engage in participation in one or more of the following industry groups: AOPA, NATA, NBAA, ACSF 

COMPETENCIES: 

  • Previous advising and/or instructional experience 

  • Sales experience in luxury markets 

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Management, Aviation Sciences, Supply Chain Management, Pre Law, or Economics preferred 

  • Participation in industry groups preferred: AOPA, NATA, NBAA, ACSF preferred 

  • Excellent communication, research, time management, and public speaking skills 

  • Salesforce experience preferred 

  • High levels of applied emotional intelligence 

  • Persistent, resilient, and positive attitude 

  • Strong negotiation skills 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (if applicable): 

This position doesn’t have any supervisory responsibilities. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

Based on location. If remote, position will be based at the team members home office. General office environment with moderate noise levels. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

  • Extended periods sitting at a desk or workstation 

  • Occasional walking/ movement between work areas (e.g., meetings, restrooms, or kitchen) 

  • Repetitive Hand and Wrist Movements via frequent typing and use of a mouse 

  • Light lifting of office supplies, documents, or equipment (up to 20 lbs.) 

  • Screen Use: Prolonged use of a computer screen 

  • Ability to drive for extended periods of time 

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: 

This is a Full-Time Exempt position.  

TRAVEL: 

Travel to the Quincy, MA headquarters will be required for remote positions twice a year. Additional travel may be required for private client visits and prospecting.

This is a commission-based sales role with a base salary of $50,000–$60,000, plus performance-driven incentives. Earnings increase based on the number of jet cards sold, charter trips booked, and customer accounts retained. Additional bonuses include renewals, new accounts, quarterly sales targets, and overall client retention. Total compensation varies based on quota achievement, experience, and location, with potential access to a full benefits package from Magellan Jets.
