About the job Data Entry Specialist - Remote / Entry Level SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing help to transfer large amounts of data into a new data base system and update current data base files. The candidate must be detailed oriented, capable of error recognition and correction with very little oversight. We expected the individual work accurately and efficient as possible.RESPONSIBILITIES:Record, report and ensure multiple types of data are input into the proper data base cellsEnter information in a work order and document control system along with completing manual forms as needed.Possess thorough understanding of the document control and record filesReceiving of incoming and outgoing materialsTransfer confidential records and documents from one software program to another software program.Knowledge of photocopying and scanningExcellent communication skillsComfortable working with a team environmentStay on timeline and understand deadlinesCoordinate other activities with plant supervisors/maintenance and other personnel to optimize performance of the data baseREQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or GED required.
