With a presence on over 3,000 campuses, Turning Point USA is the largest and fastest-growing youth organization in America.</em> * <em>Job Description:</em>* TPUSA seeks a Development Administrative Assistant to support the Development team in Phoenix, AZ and contribute to the administrative activities of our Development department—ultimately helping TPUSA, its leadership, and Development Representatives reach revenue goals and continue to execute the TPUSA mission and vision. The Development Administrative Assistant will be responsible for working directly with the Director of Development on various administrative and organizational tasks. * <em>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</em>* The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: * Executing follow up phone calls and emails—when needed—to existing and prospecting donors * Assist in managing Director of Development's calendar; includes being extremely familiar with Director of Development's schedule and keeping calendar updated and progressing in a timely manner * Assisting the Director of Development in the tracking and logging of donor communications and contacts * Booking travel and accommodations at the request of the Director of Development * Assisting with fundraising programs that include direct response and donor communications * Working closely with the Development Administrative Director to achieve advancement department's programmatic goals * Interacting with donors on an as needed basis * Traveling periodically for events * Other duties (TPUSA has an all hands on deck culture and the Administrative Assistant may help with productions, events, and other activities as needed) * <em>Minimum Qualifications:</em>* * Have working knowledge of Google Drive; * Have working knowledge of Salesforce or equivalent CRM; * Punctual and extremely responsive; * Be organized, a self-starter, and goal oriented; * Demonstrate high level of integrity and confidentiality; * Have close personal alignment with the mission and principles of TPUSA; * Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills needed to form working relationships with fellow colleagues; * Have competency in managing deadlines, multiple projects, and competing priorities; * Have strong verbal and written communication; * Reflect a strong work ethic and desire for excellence; * Ideally have past/present involvement in conservative youth organizations, experience starting campus organizations and/or, leadership experience in conservative youth organizations is an added plus, but is not necessary. * Please note that wages posted on third-party sites such as Indeed are auto-generated and are not accurate.<em> * All applicants will be subject to a background check and would be required to sign an NDA for employment.</em>
