As a Lead UI Engineer, you will be responsible for resolving complex issues, ensuring continuous improvements for Target's monitoring, detection, and mitigation capabilities, and contributing to the development of incident response and detection tooling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize your expertise to resolve complex issues and ensure continuous upgrades for Target's monitoring, detection, and mitigation capabilities.
  • Collaborate with developers and security specialists to enhance the protection of Target's network using state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Develop and implement new application security solutions, taking them from concept to delivery.
  • Work closely with incident responders to customize emergency applications and detection teams to make upgrades to detection instruments.
  • Design and build applications with heavy visualization and client intelligence.
  • Communicate and coordinate with project teams, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate expertise in analysis and advancement of systems' limit, execution, and functional well-being.
  • Develop solutions to facilitate data lifecycle management.
  • Maintain deep technical knowledge within subject matters.
  • Stay current with new advancements through regular training and independent instruction.

Essential Qualifications

  • 7+ years of programming development experience with at least one full cycle implementation.
  • Extensive development experience writing production code in modern JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
  • Significant experience designing and building applications with heavy visualization and client intelligence.
  • Experience developing applications that go beyond forms and data input.
  • Experience with d3.js, Vega, Material, or comparable libraries and frameworks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4-year degree in a connected field.
  • Online security experience or significant interest as well as training in the field.
  • Experience with Git, Docker, container orchestration services.
