<p><strong>Guest Host (Full Time)</strong></p> <p>Location: West Palm Beach</p> <p><a href="https://www.perigold.com/">Perigold</a>, the destination for luxury home, is opening its first physical retail stores, first-of-their-kind luxury retail destinations of 20-30K square feet, with the best products in all styles and from across our catalog including furniture, decor, housewares, and home improvement categories.  Come be a part of it!  We are looking for a Guest Host who will be responsible for welcoming and introducing guests to our store while simultaneously helping to be the frontline eyes and ears that identify any risks to store safety and security.  The Guest Host will report into the Assistant Store Manager, Guest Experience and will also be a part of a global Asset Protection team.  If you are a collaborative and engaging “people-person” who is diligent and thrives in a fast-paced environment, this might be the perfect fit for you.  </p> <p>The <strong>Greeter/Store Host</strong> is responsible for delivering the exceptional first impression and welcoming atmosphere that defines the <strong>Perigold luxury experience</strong>. This role is critical in ensuring every guest feels invited, oriented, and seamlessly connected with the appropriate in-store resources</p> <p><em data-stringify-type="italic">The base pay for this position is $20.00 per hour + quarterly bonus. The base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.</em></p> <h3>What you’ll do</h3> <h4>Luxury Guest Greeting & Orientation</h4> <ul> <li>Be the official <strong>first impression</strong> of the store, warmly greeting and engaging guests at the main entrance in an authentic and highly professional manner.</li> <li>Proactively engage with customers to understand the purpose of their visit and provide tailored guidance and directions through the showroom.</li> <li><strong>Seamlessly transition</strong> customers to the appropriate team members, including Designers, Product Specialists, and other Sales Associates, for specialized assistance.</li> <li>Maintain a welcoming presence at the host post, offering clear, friendly information and answering initial questions about the store, products, and services.</li> <li>Ensure the entrance and greeting areas are immaculate, organized, and uphold Perigold’s high standards for a luxury environment.</li> </ul> <h4>Store Support & Team Collaboration</h4> <ul> <li>Communicate regularly with the sales and design teams to manage guest flow and facilitate smooth customer handoffs.</li> <li>Assist with general showroom upkeep and organization as needed to ensure a beautiful and inspiring shopping environment.</li> <li>Act as a brand ambassador, consistently embodying our commitment to customer satisfaction and passion for luxury design.</li> </ul> <h4>Safety & Store Awareness</h4> <ul> <li>Maintain awareness of all activity near the entrance and throughout the front-of-house area.</li> <li>Proactively identify and communicate any potential safety-related concerns on the sales floor to a member of leadership.</li> <li>Be prepared to quickly and calmly address immediate safety concerns involving guests or associates and communicate details to management.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you’ll need</strong></p> <ul> <li>1+ year of customer experience in a retail or other customer facing setting.</li> <li>Flexibility availability (including mornings, nights, weekends, some holidays).</li> <li>Excellent customer service skills - including written and verbal communication</li> <li>Knowledge of Google Systems including email, google sheets, and other google platforms.</li> <li>Energetic and optimistic attitude.
