About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Lead DevOps and Release Manager to oversee the delivery of complex features within the Ensuring Stage, a software application serving financial clients from our Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) specialty unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving multiple delivery activities across various applications, ensuring that Change Items are delivered with high quality and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and support Delivery Management across multiple products/applications, performing daily activities to ensure timely and quality deliveries.
  • Drive the successful delivery and execution of cross-functional activities to achieve desired outcomes for defined programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Measure, track, and communicate release achievements, configuration guidelines, version control records, and related risks to Dev/QA Engineers, Product Managers, and Scrum Masters.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create release plans, considering dependencies, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks with regular review and reprioritization of the risk log, working closely with project stakeholders.
  • Develop blending, fanning, and organizing strategies with DevOps engineers, implementing them across multiple applications/software.
  • Create and maintain release management processes, policies, and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient deliveries.
  • Generate regular reports on release status, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-release reviews to gather feedback and implement lessons learned for future deliveries.
  • Develop innovative plans to utilize Application-Release Automation (ARA) tools, driving DevOps and Continuous Delivery (CD) rapidly.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a customer-centric mindset.

Essential Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Delivery Management of medium to high complexity products.
  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on automation and build and deployment pipelines.
  • 3+ years of experience working in Continuous Integration environments, including Jenkins, GIT, and CI/CD.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a Cloud Environment (Azure preferred but open to AWS and GCP).
  • Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills to lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including release plans and delivery communication to executive and technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

To further enhance your candidacy, you may possess:

  • Experience with Azure DevOps, including managing Azure DevOps projects, configuring pipelines, releases, build agents, and working with GIT repositories.
  • Knowledge of build automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible) and deployment tools (e.g., Octopus).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
