Job Summary

The Senior Data Analyst will be a key member of the analytics team, supporting various internal stakeholders, such as lead management and customer experience groups, through data and insights. This role requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas, including advanced SQL, statistics, and data visualization. The successful candidate will be able to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Insights (25%): Interpret and analyze data using advanced SQL, statistics, and methodology to provide insights to leaders and internal stakeholders. Provide input on forecasts based on knowledge of product and technology trends.
  • Data Pipeline Development and Maintenance (40%): Create, maintain, and improve data pipelines for seamless reporting and visualization.
  • Sales and Financial Analysis (10%): Review sales/financial analyses, including what sold/didn't sell, category potential, cost/benefit analysis, and data process modeling/analysis of issues.
  • Storytelling and Recommendations (25%): Integrate findings, draw conclusions from analyses, and make oral/written recommendations to upper management. Execute tasks related to core operations projects and process improvements.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and intermediate knowledge of another scripting/ordered/statistical programming language (Python preferred).
  • Experience with data mining, statistical analysis, and/or forecasting.
  • Basic understanding of GitHub for version control.
