Our client is looking for a talented sales manager to join their team. This role requires proactive management of the assigned territory to increase sales, cultivate relationships, and ensure successful execution of the full sales cycle. The ideal candidate combines industry knowledge with strong communication skills and is relentless in pursuing new leads. The geographic territory includes TN, MS, AL, GA, FL, SC, NC, and VA.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and evaluate distributor performance to maintain a strong sales network.

Identify and recruit new distributors for business development.

Provide direct sales support and guidance to distributor partners.

Prepare and present machine proposals and quotations based on customer needs, working with internal teams, distributors, and end-users.

Offer feedback on competitive products, pricing, and product improvements.

Manage and maintain an active sales pipeline.

Address customer concerns and recommend appropriate products and equipment.

Gather technical specifications for proposals and quotations.

Explore new markets and non-traditional distribution channels.

Provide on-site support to end-users throughout the sales process.

Serve as the product expert for all aspects of the product suite.

Maintain effective sales expense budget controls.

Continuously promote and present new and existing products.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED: Experience with surface preparation capital equipment, Air and Wheel blast technology, and/or abrasive medias.

Preferred: Bachelor"s degree in a technical field (or equivalent industry experience).

Proven success in selling capital equipment machinery and working with engineers and distributors.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Demonstrated track record of top performance in a competitive sales environment.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal, persuasive, and relationship-building abilities.

Energetic self-starter with the ability to excel in a dynamic sales environment.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Willingness to travel 50% of the time, including overnight travel.

Existing network of contacts within the surface preparation or related industries.
