The mission of the Squarespace Commerce team is to provide sellers with the tools they need to build and grow their business on Squarespace. With our priority focus on service sellers, we have an exciting roadmap of work ahead to help service sellers connect with their customers and seamlessly deliver the services and hospitality they strive for.<br><br>We are looking for a UX Researcher to support research within Squarespace Commerce. You will support across the Commerce team but embed with teams each half to drive high-priority work. You will work closely with product owners to guide the direction and influence of Research - staying involved with the product teams and training their colleagues to maximize their ability to understand and act upon customer needs.<br><br>You will report directly to the UX Research Manager working out of our NYC headquarters 2x a week.<br><br>You'll Get To…<br><br><ul><li>Lead end-to-end strategic research while simultaneously rolling your sleeves up on tactical research, including concept and usability testing.</li><li>Shape thought leadership in a specific product / feature area, champion this feature and the underlying customer needs.</li><li>Build and nurture partnerships with cross-functional partners including product managers, designers, data scientists, analysts, customer support, and engineers.</li><li>Build a toolkit of quantitative and qualitative research methods and fluency in business metrics to build and prioritize a research roadmap.</li><li>Present to leadership and find compelling ways to illustrate research findings in order to influence stakeholders and product roadmaps.</li><li>Identify patterns in research happening across teams and establish core insights that impact ongoing prioritization.</li><li>Advocate for research within the organization and on your teams by guiding stakeholders toward the best areas of study, methodologies, and a shared understanding of our users.</li><li>Own multiple projects at one time from briefing to release with support and coaching.<br><br></li></ul>Who We're Looking For<br><br><ul><li>5+ UX Research work experience.
