Position Description:

Motus is seeking an experienced Zendesk Administrator to join our Operations team. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of recent experience managing and optimizing Zendesk, driving operational efficiency, and supporting business needs in a fast-paced setting.

This individual will bring technical expertise with Zendesk, along with the adaptability to learn and support additional operational capacity to work independently while maintaining organization systems such as Five9. Success in this role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology needs, such as AI; attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while staying organized.

Position Duties:

  • Responsible for administrative functions, documentation, and audits in all of the systems used by the Operations team, including Zendesk and Five9.
  • Identify and implement solutions to enhance system performance, efficiency, and user experience.
  • Maintain up to date company, industry, and system knowledge.
  • Monitor and respond to errors and outages within agreed SLAs.
  • Train and provide technical assistance to team members or users.
  • Create and maintain detailed system documentation.
  • Proactively identify, plan, and implement continuous process improvement solutions.
  • Develop system-related procedures, programs, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
  • Independently project manage small to medium system initiatives.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of hands-on Zendesk administrator experience
  • Active certifications in Zendesk a plus
  • Experience within a SaaS or operations environment
  • Exposure to AI solutions such as chatbot or agent copilots
  • Familiarity with tools such as telephony, workforce management, and quality management
  • Experience working within a project management framework
  • Knowledge or understanding of API, coding, and development
  • Demonstrated skill in identifying problems and creating effective solutions
  • Ability to analyze system performance, workflows, and data to make informed recommendations for improvement
  • Experience in leading small to medium cross-departmental projects independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments.
  • Independent self-starter who is capable of taking initiative and driving activities with little supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset.

Where required by law, Motus provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The pay range for this role is $65,000 - $80,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidates relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short-and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally required benefits.
