Check out what we’re working on: https://salesforce.vidyard.com/watch/YjHzKRijCi9r9VYo82CVJq<br><br><strong>What You Will Be Doing<br><br></strong>You’ll brainstorm with Product Managers, Designers, Backend, and Frontend Engineers on your team to conceptualize and build new features for our large (and growing!) user base<br><br>You’ll produce high-quality results by contributing heavily to team projects that have a significant impact on the business<br><br>You’ll actively own team features or systems and define their long-term health, while also improving the health of surrounding systems.<br><br>You’ll assist our skilled support team and operations team in triaging and resolving production issues<br><br>You’ll mentor other engineers and deeply review code<br><br>You’ll improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes<br><br><strong>What You Should Have<br><br></strong>7+ years of experience designing, developing, and releasing consumer-facing software.<br><br>Recent experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux, and React.<br><br>Expertise in building complex layouts with CSS and HTML.<br><br>A quality mindset with the ability to ship well-tested code.<br><br>Experience with modern browser technologies.<br><br>Strong UX and design sensibilities, and a desire to sweat the small stuff.<br><br>Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices.<br><br>Experience building and debugging complex systems in a collaborative team environment.<br><br>Problem-solving ability around an unfamiliar codebase, using tools like Eclipse or IntelliJ to understand a complex ecosystem.<br><br>Experience with Design Systems.<br><br>Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy.<br><br>Self-motivation and the ability to take initiative independently, learn quickly, and meet deadlines.<br><br>A related technical degree is required.<br><br>Slack has a positive, diverse, and supportive culture—we look for people who are curious, inventive, and work to be a little better every single day.
